TREK Bicycle's Dick Moran, in an exceedingly-rare photo with a
coffee cup in his hand. Probably doing research on a new
team sponsorship (schmoozing with Starbucks?).
The crack
Chain Reaction jersey design team of Amy & Steve from our Los Altos
store, assisted by an artist from Voler. New Chain Reaction
jerseys soon!
The new Campagnolo
Thong. Or maybe it's a super-skimpy tri short? Somebody
thought it might have been a headband, but that's a stretch.
Vittoria showed off
their new "Mobius Strip" tire, with tread on both sides! Not
really sure why you'd need one, but they had some silly reasons.
You might think evil or
nice things about Starbucks, but their jersey is pretty cool... but
you can't buy them. Dumb.
Bob Roll getting ready
to sign a copy of his new book. No, wait, that's John Burke
from TREK!!!???
The real Bob Roll,
whose hairline has receded considerably more than John Burke's.
Completing the
hair-to-hairless series is Gary Fisher, always dressed to the nines
(whatever that means).
But the longest line
for an autograph? Not Bob or Gary or even George Hincapie...
...but the most-famous
cyclist ever, Eddy Merckx (along with his son, Axel, also an
accomplished bike racer).
We don't sell much
Italian product, but if we did, it would come from Bill at Torelli.
Great guy, knows his stuff.
And just to demonstrate
how fake Las Vegas is, even the fakes are fake. This is a
"living statue", someone dressed up as a famous piece of artwork and
standing very, very still.
